Our Services
At Dr Glenn & Partners Medical Imaging we are committed to providing our patients and referring doctors the very best medical imaging service. We have 3 locations which offer highly experienced Radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and administrative staff.
X-Ray and Dental Imaging
X-Ray imaging offers a quick and effective way to examine different parts of the body. Based on the type of X-Ray, you may need to stand or lie down during the procedure. The process itself doesn’t cause pain, though minor discomfort from the necessary positioning may be experienced.
CT Scans: Computed Tomography
Known as Computed Tomography or a CAT scan, this imaging technique uses X-Rays to produce detailed cross-sectional images. CT scans are invaluable in detecting and diagnosing medical conditions and are suitable for examining many areas of the body.
Ultrasound Imaging
Ultrasound Imaging, also known as sonography, is a non-invasive medical imaging technique that employs high-frequency sound waves to produce live visuals of the body’s internal components. Comparable to sonar or radar, this method allows for real-time observation of internal structures.
MRI
An MRI is a safe, painless scan that produces detailed images of the inside of your body. It helps doctors assess areas like the brain, spine, joints, and organs without using radiation. MRI can also show issues in blood vessels and soft tissues, making it a valuable tool for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Bone Density Measurement (BMD)
Bone densitometry, often called DXA or DEXA, uses advanced imaging to analyse bone density. This simple and non-invasive procedure is essential for diagnosing conditions like osteoporosis and understanding fracture risks.
Interventional Radiology for Pain Relief
Pain can originate from various causes, including injuries or repetitive daily motions. Through minimally invasive procedures, interventional radiology aims to reduce pain and enhance everyday life by improving sleep, mood, productivity, and overall well-being.
