X-Ray
An X-Ray uses a small amount of radiation to capture images of internal structures within the body. As the radiation passes through, different tissues absorb varying amounts, making dense materials like bone appear white, while softer tissues such as muscles show up in shades of grey. This imaging technique is widely used for diagnosing a variety of conditions, offering quick and non-invasive results. Depending on the examination, you may be asked to stand, sit, or lie down. Although the process is painless, some positioning may cause brief discomfort. A medical referral is required to undergo an X-Ray.
